Fear of The Beast!

I speak with people on a daily basis, and I take note of tone and attitude of the person while speaking with them, which helps me get a feel of with whom I am speaking, in an attempt to mirror them. What I have noticed, within the professional arena, is individuals maintain the same voice when speaking with potential clients as they do while conversing with friends.

In my opinion this is a big NO-NO, doesn’t it make you feel as though you have contacted a wrong number when calling a business and it sounds as though you were the last person they wanted to speak with upon answering the phone. I hate that! I often find myself saying hello twice to ensure that I have actually dialed the correct number and not someone’s home.
In Network marketing, the concept is the same; learn to tame the beast of speaking professionally and calmly. Focus on key points to get your point across to your client/prospect. Find the hooks of your business and stick with it, don’t hesitate to ask them if they have questions first, that way you have an idea of where to begin with your pitch.
The key to taming the beast of fear when talking to people via telephone or in person is to remember that they are people too. They are not the big bad wolf awaiting the chance to devour your loins, and the worst thing that they can say is no. Don’t take it personally, whatever the outcome of the conversation, the most important thing is that you did it!
Stand Firm-Be Strong-Stay Persistent….Until next time

Kindest Regards,
Lillie
